Red Pepper Flavored jerky. We balance the red pepper with a little black pepper, brown sugar and salt. It’s a great tasting jerky that’s to the spicy side in terms of heat. Folks who take HOT food seriously will find this flavor to be a nice “every day” jerky, but it’s probably too spicy for folks with more delicate palates.Our Red Pepper Jerky is just what it sounds like...and more. Jerky with red pepper seasoning, but we round out the flavor profile with a little black pepper, sugar, and salt. It's always made of our *premium **all natural beef that we raise ourselves near Holdrege Nebraska. Our slab jerky is made from cross-cut beef rounds, which is a very lean cut of beef from the hind quarters of the cattle. Our beef is bred and raised to be tender and delicious and our jerky is just that. Red Pepper does have some heat, but devout fans of hot food will find it "easy going" while more sensitive palates may find it a little too hot. Describing heat is always tricky as it's subjective.
*by "Premium" we mean that our beef is: single source, all natural, hand selected smaller cattle that result in thicker steaks, hanger aged prior to being wet aged a minimum of 35 days, then expertly cut and trimmed by professional butchers before being flash frozen in special packaging that will allow it to keep for up to 1 year in the freezer. Most grocery store and butcher shop beef can't compete with that pedigree and level of convenience.
