Each package contains 2 - 8oz Tenderized Round Steaks that are ready to thaw, bread and fry. We cut these thicker than the typical tenderized round steak that comes from the store, this results in a better end product. They are cubed to hold on to breading and seasoning well and not separate when the come out of the fryer. If you’re looking for run of the mill chicken fried steak…best look elsewhere, this is not it. We’ve also heard of folks cooking tenderized round steaks in casseroles and Instant-Pots and such…these steaks would work fine for that as well, but we would personally use a chuck roast instead and save these for chicken fried steak.
