Autumn is one of our favorite times of year. Roasts are one of our favorite things to cook in the fall. Whether it's a tri-tip on the grill before a football game, or a chuck roast in the oven before heading to church on a Sunday, roasts are one of the best ways we know to bring the family around the table. Tri-Tip roasts come from the sirloin area, and they are much like a Top Sirloin steak in texture and flavor. We prefer to do them on the grill, but they can be cooked in the oven or in a crockpot. Chuck roasts are perfect for the roasting pan with potatoes, carrots and onions, into a 350F oven at 9 in the morning will cook a perfect roast just in time for lunch. The next time you want to bring people together, don't be afraid to get roasted.
