Burnt ends are a favorite every BBQ master will appreciate...and not something that you see everyday in the grocery store. Burnt ends are a treat. We’ve come up with a great way to cut this piece of beef that makes it easy for everyone to prepare from the BBQ to the pitmaster and all the Croc-Pot chefs in between. Burnt ends range in weight from 3.5 - 5.5 lbs (size of animal affects point size) and it is an unbelievably rich, tender cut of meat. We recommend smoking burnt ends, then finishing them at 200 degrees F for 8 - 12 hours. They’re not a quick dinner item, but when you’ve got time for something that will blow your mind....this is the cut.
